RIP Paul Kojczk. Empty RIP Paul Kojczk.

Post  Dock end John Mon Apr 14, 2014 8:50 am

The club are devastated to announce the passing of Paul Kojczyk earlier this week.

RIP Paul Kojczyk Paul Kojczyk, son of a local businessman, Mick, had come to Britain to fight in the Free Polish forces during WW2.

He was a tall, strong, Centre Half who played mainly for the Reserves, but never let the 1st Team down when called up.

Paul made his debut in 1987/88 and made 41 (24 + 17) appearances for the 1st Team.

After retiring from playing, he still came over to Chadfields to support the Dockers and became well known and loved by everyone at the club.

The minute silence on Saturday vs Needham Market was impeccably observed and Paul will always be in the memory of those at the club.

Our thoughts are with Paul's friends and family in this time.

This tribute was written with thanks to Lloyd Brown.
