Tilbury 4 Redbridge 1 (Att 71)Tilbury returned to winning ways with a comprehensive victory over out of form Redbridge and also inflicting there 11th consecutive defeat. The only disappointment of the evening was the red card received to defender Conor Mead. Redbridge had the better of the opening with Daniel Jones seeing his effort fly over the bar. Redbridge had another effort shortly later with a free kick from James Alexandrou beating Clarke Bogard in goal, but bounced off the crossbar. Tilbury went in front on 17 when two ex Redbridge strikers combined to take the lead. Kurt Smith beat his marker to whip in a cross which Emiel Aikin was on the end of and although his initial effort was saved by Avery, the ball rebounded to back to him to tap home. Harry Cook who caused the away defence problems. almost made it two when he controlled well before he turned and shot just wide .Tilbury came out after the break in determined fashion and made it 2-0 on 55 when Aiken returned the favour for his goal when he put over a great ball and Kurt Smith who was running into the box headed home unmarked. Within 5 minutes Tilbury secured the points when Harry Cook was played in over the top and with most Redbridge players waiting for the flag, due to the player being in a clear offside position, rounded the keeper and slotted into the empty net.
