Now Stowey is back to score the goals we need to learn how to defend better.
Well done Stowey - still class.

In a lively affair, Tilbury took the lead after 30 minutes as a mistake from Bennett in the Aveley goal allowed the Docker’s Chris Stowe to head in from two yards. However, the lead only lasted twelve minutes as a straight ball from Slater found Kurt Smith who with great composure knocked the ball past Driscoll to equalise. It looked like to stay the way to the break however, Aveley were not finished there as David Knight played a 1-2 with Smith and found himself through on goal to poke the ball post the on-coming Driscoll for 2-1 on the stroke of half time. The second half saw the Dockers come out all guns blazing and got the reward as Chris Stowe found room to fire in a rocket from 20 yards to complete his second and Tilburys second goal of the game. However, just five minutes later on 58 Aveley restored their lead, as impressive winger Orlando Smith delivered a corner which evaded everyone and drifted into the far top corner for 3-2. The game got worse for Tilbury when on 78 minutes Aveley made it four as a mix up between Port and Driscoll, saw Port head the ball over Driscoll and leave substitute Josh Llewellyn the easy job off placing the ball into the empty goal. The Docker’s exit was confirmed as fitness showed when Abs Thompson ran the ball down the right and cut into find himself one on one with Driscoll, and calmly slotted the ball under the on-coming goalkeeper for 5-2.

Dockers - Driscoll, Wilson, Malthouse (Port), Turner (Taylor), Clarey, Henty, Leahy, Bourne, Stowe, Llewellyn (Gordon), Toner Subs not used - Marrable, Cook
