Away v Cray Wanderers.
First of all well done to the twenty plus "DOCKERS" who made the trip to Bromley, and what a game of football it was.
The game had everything three terrific goals, a well taken Kurt Smith penalty, and a unfortunate blunder by our keeper that proved costly in the end. Tilbury had complete control of the game even when going one nil down. After a Cray sending off we went 2-1 up and should have extended our lead and gone on to win with ease, unfortunately a couple of sloppy passes, and Clarke miss judging a shot cost us coming home with any points. There was disappointment in there club house after the game from both players and fans after seeing what should have been at least a point being snatched from us in the 88th minute. Moving on, we have beaten one and played very well against two teams who are expected to make the ryman north play offs this season. And the squad of players that Gary has, in my opinion is only lacking a prolific goal scorer, but its the best squad of players since "Chesters" ryman league cup winning side. Feeling gutted about the result, but I think things are looking good, and we will go on to have a good season, and surprise a few more teams. Not forgetting Richmonds goal we wont see a better one this season, but as he said after the game it counted for nothing, and that was a shame because it deserved to win any game.
