Great start for the "DOCKERS" Empty Re: Great start for the "DOCKERS"

We have had some great goalkeepers over the last eight year's the lad in goal yesterday looked very calm and commanding, the save he tipped over the bar was worth the admittance money alone. He is on loan from West Ham so hope we can hang on to him for at least a season.

Great start for the "DOCKERS" Empty Great start for the "DOCKERS"

The "DOCKERS" opened their Ryman One North campaign with a fine win against a strong Wroxham team.
A solitary goal was enough for Gary Henty’s side, with Tony Martin getting it after an hour although the match was hanging in the balance for much of the encounter.
It was Wroxham who were looking creative in the early stages, and Matt Waters brought the best out of Dockers loan goalkeeper Clarke Bogard, following the departure of Jack Giddens to Billericay Town.
Dave Hinton was also denied by the impressive Bogard, as he tipped over impressively.
Nathan Stone missed an open goal as Wroxhma pressed and they were made to pay as Martin netted.
Henty’s men had a number of close shaves after taking the lead but held out for a superb win.

Tilbury: Bogard, Mead, Cook, Nightingill, Smith, Aiken, Babalola, Carlile, Cook (Austin), Martin (Edmunds), Smith
