Re: Your opinions on Paul Vaughan etc.....
Having a football academy is a good thing for the club, it brings many benefits when applying for grants and other financial assistance from the fa and other bodies. The problem is when the the academy is in the total control of the manager then getting shot of the manager becomes a issue. I don't think paul vaughan does a very good job as the manager his tactics and substitutions at times are just senseless. Any other manager would certainly have been sacked after a season like we have just had.

Re: Your opinions on Paul Vaughan etc.....
No matter what our opinions of Paul are, he's most probably making a good living out of his own "YOUTH SPORTS ACADEMY" and good luck to him, unfortunately for us it has become attached to Tilbury Football Club. This being the situation, and I don't blame him he will not walk. At the end of the day T.F.C committee will have to decide what's best for the club, having a decent "YOUTH SPORTS ACADEMY" (and yes I do think Paul's got himself a decent set up on the youth side) or the main objective of taking T.F.C. forward. Danny Nash will have his own opinions on this and since taking over from his Late father, he has not only made improvements within the club house and ground improvements, from the impression he gives out he also wants to take the team forward. Due to the shit football being played we are seeing less of the regular faces attending games every week. We are at home Saturday the club house will be open (draught bud on sale now) new decent large screen for football, and duke box . "KEEP THE FAITH"

my view
paul came in under a cloud after 2 gud seasons under chester the team had some teething problems but r now starting to jel, i still think we r judging him to soon if we continue to play and win like we r doing then shud b ok this season
At the end of the season we can then be judges. And then start the 2011/2012 season on a new footing and all work for promotion

Re: Your opinions on Paul Vaughan etc.....
I've said on here before which relates to this.
Most of it is based on Paul bringing in players that seem to work well together much more than when the season started.
It sometimes takes time, And which us it has proved the case.
Onwards & Upwards

Your opinions on Paul Vaughan etc.....
After that brilliant result at the weekend i think it's time for all our supporters to hold there hands up an say yeah Paul Vaughan is doing the best he can an to say well done for turning it round,as SOME thought we was in the shit an going down,The results and performances since christmas have been very good an i think it's also only fair that he had a decent song,He must be doing something right because there has been no mention of the C word (chester) over the last few months.Romford had the best goals against record in the league an to go there an win 3-0 was top class,Lets hope we can nick a point tuesday an win saturday.I hope the time has come at last where EVERYONE is backing the boss 100 per cent as it will only help confidence wise if EVERYONE is behind him.
Sorry about the video,It's the only one could find so you know the right tune.

Paul Vaughan came to Tilbury an they said he'll take us down.
They never had no faith in the famous Tilbury town.
Remember when it was 5 games in,they said that he must go.
But when he keeps us up this year remember how it goes.
Tra la la la.we all love Vaughany
Tra la la la la la la la la.
