RESULTS SUNDAY 24.1.10.
Under 13's Thundermite Langdon Pumas 0 - 0 Tilbury
Fantastic tiop of the table clash when you consider Tilbury shockingly lost the corresponding fixture towards the end of last year 10-1, great turnaround, brilliant performance.
Under 14's EJA Tilbury 2 - 3 Boca Mountnessing Challenge Cup Quarter final.
Tilbury's under 14's suffered their first defeat of the season to fierce rivals Boca. The Dockers lead 1-0 until one minute before the break when an unfortunate own goal gave Boca an equaliser. The second period Boca bossed for the first twenty minutes and went 3-1 up before Tilbury rallied and then bossed the game for the last fifteen minutes pulling a goal back but just could not find another to force extra time. Good competitive game but Tilbury suffered from having not played a competitive game since 13th December due to the weather and holiday period.
Under 18's EJA Tilbury 1 - 8 Concord Rangers - Ingilby Cup 2nd round
Tilbury playing for the first time since November having lost several players including two goalkeepers and the manager were always up against it. The Tilbury spirit showed through and the Dockers deservedley lead 1-0 into the break.
Tilbury were again the better side for the first ten or so minutes in the second period however Concord scored an equaliser and then quickly added another two. The last fifteen minutes saw Tilbury cruelly concede another five as they completley ran out of steam with nothing left in the tank. With no recognised goalkeeper and the problems these lads have overcome to try and put a side out is a credit to each and every one of them.
We sincerely hope to have a new keeper signed within the next few days and are sure the lads can turn their season round in the league over the coming months, their is no lack of quality or Indeed on this showing, commitment.

Re: RESULTS SUNDAY 24.1.10.
Under 18's lost players due to the manager resigning pre Chrtistmas having already lost their assistant manager at the start of the season. They both left for non football reasons but left the lads without any stability or structure which we are now trying to put back together.
We have just signed a new top quality goalkeeper who will hopefully be available to play inside the next two weeks, until then the current lads will have to soldier on, but to their credit they have so far shown a great spirit. If we can get over this difficult period then I am sure they can push on and end the season on a high. They have some talent but have just not had any managerial organisation in place to give them the stability and belief they need.
