RYMAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE ADMINISTRATION CHANGES – IN THE FUTURE
BRUCE BADCOCK
I have to advise that Bruce Badcock, on reaching normal retiring age, has decided that at the end of the current season he wishes to retire from his full time position as League Secretary, a position he has held for the past 6 years, in order that he can spend more time with his family. However Bruce has offered to assist the League on a part time basis assisting in other areas of the ever expanding League Administration. During his period with the League Bruce has played a part in the overall development of the League and I know he will be missed by many. It is intended that Bruce will remain as League Secretary until the Annual General Meeting on 18th June 2011.
The Board accepted and respected Bruce’s position, and have discussed a successor for Bruce to ensure that the efficiency of the League was maintained. An internal application was received and the person interviewed and after two interviews and full discussion it was decided that in the best interest of the League the person interviewed was a very suitable candidate.
KELLIE DISCIPLINE
I am pleased to advise that the Directors were unanimous in agreeing that Kellie Discipline, currently a Director, should be offered the position of League Secretary Designate with effect from Monday 18th April 2011, taking over the full responsibilities at the Annual General Meeting on 18th June 2011, and will not be seeking re-election as a Director. Kellie is well known in football circles and has much experience in League Administration, and was formerly the Secretary of the Football Conference, resigning from that position when the Conference relocated to the Midlands. She is also an elected member of the Kent County Football Association and currently Secretary of Thamesmead Town Football Club (from which she will resign). Kellie also has experience in General Office Management as well as Banking.
LEAGUE OFFICE
It is intended that the League Office will be re-located to a more central position, in the Dartford area at a suitable time, possibly June/July and details will follow in due course as will other matters relating to the administration staff etc.
