Only one league win in the last ten games, and we must all remember to get behind Gary. Our position in the league  is no fault of his.
Also can anyone explain not only to me but also to others, why our previous manager (Failed previous manager) was so prominent with his involvement with the first team on Saturday.  I should think Gary and Smudger can do very nicely without his impute, I don't think he should have any contact with our players whilst representing Tilbury Football Club.

Four Consecutive Defeats

by Anthony Mercer

Tilbury 1 Wroxham 2 (Att 59)

Tilbury under new manager Gary Henty saw his side put up a good fight, but went down to two first half Christy Finch efforts. In a game that was played in wet and slippery conditions, Wroxham struck the first blow after 2 minutes when Finch beat the offside trap to hit low past Insole. Both Babalola and Carlile had efforts before it became 2-0 when Nightingill played the ball back to Insole who in turn played the ball straight to the feet of Finch to strike home.

Tilbury did start to play with both debutant's May and Taylor-Crossdale linking up well before May hit just wide. Up the the break both sides had efforts with May and Garrod both having good efforts. Just before the break Pooley blocked well from 3 yards. Tilbury made a bright start after the break with May firing just wide. Tilbury deservedly pulled a goal back seconds later when Babalola crossed from the right, giving Ryan Flack an easy chance to head into an empty net. With Tilbury dominating, they were hindered with 16 minutes to go when Nightingill was unlucky to receive a second yellow card after making a good tackle. In the final minutes Wroxham's Finch had two chances to seal the points, but hit wide.

After the game Manager Gary Henty said " Two mistakes cost us some well deserved points"

On Tuesday Tilbury welcome Dereham Town.
