THE TEAM, PROFILE PAUL JOYNES (ASSISTANT MANAGER)

In his playing days, Joynes played for Purfleet, Hornchurch, Tilbury, Concord Rangers, Aveley, Romford, Bishop's Stortford and Billericay.

After his playing days ended, Joynes started his managerial career and has been Manager at Tilbury, Romford and ,most successfully, at Aveley where he won the Essex Senior Cup and the Essex & Hearts Border League.

He has also been Assistant Manager at Bishop's Stortford where he helped them reach the FA Cup 1st Round Proper, the Semi-finals of the FA Trophy and the Conference South Playoffs. At Dover Athletic, they reached the 3rd Round Proper of the FA Cup, beating Gillingham and Aldershot Town along the way but their amazing run ended in a loss to Huddesfield
