Tilbury make fantastic start with a 5 -1 win over Basildon Utd.

Tilbury new look side had a good run out with Manager Paul Vaughan still looking at players to add to his squad. it was good to see signings Chris Taylor and midfielder Callum Leahy opening the scoring for the first half. At half time a new eleven took to the field and responded very well after a early goal from Basildon after the break, with goals from Adam Bolle and a brace from Michael Amao completed a good all round performance from Tilbury on a very hot Saturday afternoon.

Home v Enfield (Essex senior league side not ryman league side) Sat 24th july K.O. 15.OO. Just been on there web and Pineapple dance studios are the clubs new sponsor. Pink shirts and lemon socks, louie spence securing up the rear.

Beer and football back next sat boys, 17th july home v burnham ramblers k.o. 15.00.

Did anyone attend trial match yesterday and see anything or anyone promising ? Just seen match report on other web thanks.

Tilbury 5 Basildon Utd 1 dont have anymore details at the moment.

Tilbury 2-0 up at half time Chris Taylor scored the first not sure who got the second, Will post result when i hear as iam not at game.

The reason this was not published was I am still looking at players and it was thought this would not give a true reflection on the work we have been doing before the Burnham game. Cheers Paul as it is only a trial game i can now see wh it was not published, i think i will give it a miss

There is a trial game this Saturday 10th July v Basildon United which is a 2pm kick off at South Essex College Thurrock Campus. The reason this was not published was I am still looking at players and it was thought this would not give a true reflection on the work we have been doing before the Burnham game. My understanding with Basildon was the game was not going to be published which was agreed both both clubs. Sorry about the confusion, I did not know that Basildon published this fixture.
