Tilbury Youth FC meeting
on Saturday 22nd May 2010 held at Tilbury football club. After a long discussion about last seasons youth progamme, everybody was in agreement that the teams involved had played very well at representing Tilbury FC. It was annouced that the U14s 2009/10 was moving on to play at Thurrock as U15 next season. Disapointing as this team had played very well last season. it was agreed to wish them the very best of luck with their new club. It was proposed that Craig Gibson will act as Youth Secretary for the coming season. There were a lot of ideas discussed which will be taken forward to the next meeting. One of the Ideas which was discussed and agreed was all youth teams will be self funded, each team will run their own bank accounts and finances. The new U16/U18 teams will be run by Mick Jacobs and Glen Wilkinson who coached at Chelmsford City last season. Pitches and training facilities have been secured for next season. Next meeting date to be annouced.
