Tilbury 2 Sevenoaks 0 (Att 41)Tilbury made it successive pre-season wins, with a 2-0 victory over a competitive Kent side Sevenoaks on Tuesday night. Manager Gary Henty rested a number of players with Friday's final pre season game away to East Thurrock in mind. The game saw the first start for new signing Danny Glozier.Tilbury created an early chance after 7 minutes when Kurt Smith headed wide, before defender Aziz Kanu made a good goal-line block with a certain goal avoided. Tilbury went in front on 40 minutes when a through ball from Jack Carlile found Andy Edmunds who curled in left footed past the keeper. Tilbury increased the lead within a minute of the break in the driving rain. Kurt Smith was found on the right and he drilled home. Sevenoaks continued to push and Tilbury keeper Clarke Bogard had to make a fine save low down with 10 minutes remaining.After the game Manager Gary Henty commented "It was a good workout against a good football side.
