A Joe Gent brace helped Redbridge move up the table as they beat a disappointing Tilbury at Oakside.The home side started well and had a good early chance through Gent when he was put clean through only to see his lob go wide of the goal.Shortly after he made up for that miss by opening the scoring after a Thompson effort had come back off the bar, straight into his path and he made no mistake with the rebound into an empty net.Soon after Tilbury had their best chance of the game when Tom Wood saw his curling effort well tipped over by Mark Parker in the home goal.A minute later Tilbury were then awarded a penalty when former Redbridge player Danny Smith was bundled over in the box, but Neil Richmond's weak effort was easily saved by Parker. This was Tilbury's third consecutive penalty miss. Tilbury were made to pay for the miss as soon went further behind after a Tilbury clearance fell to the feet of Gent and his left footed curling effort beat Lamar Johnson.The second half continued with the home side pressing but Tilbury never gave up. Elliott Johnson had a golden chance on 67 when he headed over from a Flack corner.
