Brentwood Town 3 Tilbury 3 (Att 96)

Tilbury will be disappointed to concede a last minute goal and drop 2 points in an entertaining game.

It was a lively opening. On 8 minutes the dangerous Tony Stoles struck the bar from distance, before the next attack saw Toby Aromolaran brought down in the penalty area, leaving Jack Carlile to score for the second successive game. Stokes was again in the action seeing his effort go just over. On 18 Aromolaran curled wide from just outside the area. Brentwood were level on 31 when a good through ball found Luke Foster who hit home. Harry Norman was then denied by keeper Tom Brown who parried his shot.

On 41 Tilbury went back in the lead, when a Jack Carlile corner found Tom Anderson, who rose above to powerfully head home.

Right on half time, Brentwood again drew level when Foster was brought down in the box and Tony Stokes made no mistake.

It was a fast and furious start to the second half as Ross Gleed saw his effort go just wide.

Just past the hour, it looked like Toby Aromolaran may again increase the lead, when he collected the ball on the half way line and ran the length of the pitch, only to see his final effort go a whisker wide. Ross Gleed was again denied when his free kick was tipped over by Brown.

The game then a had a quiet period, which saw only half chances. On 72 Tilbury again went in front when Siju Odelusi crossed to Kurt Smith who had only just come on the pitch and hit home from 6 yards into an empty net.

Tilbury contained possession, but were dealt a blow in the final minute when substitute Harry Cuthbert unleashed his effort, only to see the ball take a deflection, wrong footing goalkeeper Clarke Bogard.

The result sees Tilbury remain 19th. Tilbury welcome Bury Town on Saturday.

Tilbury: Bogard, Odelusi, Turpin (Turpin 70), Gleed, Salami, Jaffa, Norman (Jaggs 77), Carlile, James (Smith 70), Anderson and Aromolaran
