Match report home v Witham Town via Mr Anthony Mercer.
Tilbury 0 Witham Town 3 (Att 89)
Tilbury suffered there 4th successive defeat to away team specialists Witham Town, with all the goals coming in the first half. Joe Keith made 2 changes ti his line up and it was Tilbury who made a strong start. Inside 11 minutes, Tilbury could have been clear, with Toby Aromolaran in the thick of the action. On 2 Captain Adam Vyse flicked a header on to Aromolaran, who ran through and was blocked well as he fired at goal. Seconds later keeper Bobby Mason saved the visitors with a good save. On 11 Charlie Little crossed for Aromolaran who saw his effort well blocked by Lance Akins.
Despute the pressure, Witham took the lead on 16 when Correy Davidson got himself in the box and slotted home. Just 4 minutes later it was 2-0 when Elliot Ronto spun in the box and finished well passed Clarke Bogard.
Just passed the half hour Adam Vyse was through, but again Bobby Mason came to the rescue. Just before the break a good Witham team move was finished by Davidson again for his second of the afternoon.
Chances in the second half for both sides were limited. Witham's Jeff Guamfi saw his shot late in the game go over the top.
The result sees Tilbury remain in 17th. Tilbury have a week off, before travelling to Norwich United next Saturday.
