Re: Wroxham away
Danny scored our 2nd goal the winner came from a corner direct goal by Waters.Dock end John wrote:What a great day our trip to Wroxham F.C. was yesterday.Apart from a well deserved 3-2 win it was a lovely place to spend the day with plenty of pubs and only £3.10 a pint. After a 2hr 15min journey we arrived at 12.15 and made straight for the "KINGS HEAD" which already had its Christmas tree Proudly standing in the corner .After a few beers we made our way to "Trafford park".We went 2 up and were in full control of the game and then ex Chelsea and Celtic,s Chris Sutton made his debut for Wroxham and the ball seamed so spend all its time being clouted in the air to him. This paid of for them and Sutton done well in the air to nod the ball down for them to pull it back to 2-2.This seamed to wake the "DOCKERS" up and Danny went on to score a fine drive to win the game. So with the three points and going top of the League we made our way back into Wroxham for some cod and chips, and started our long journey back to the football club, most of our other fans who had made the journey were back in the club for a few beers. It was a long trip and a long day, but well done to the 20 or so "DOCKERS" who made the trip, i for one cant wait to go back there. So on to Tuesday night, and a home game v Redbridge who are not doing to well at the moment, so hopefully 3 more points and then onto Saturday,s derby v GRAYS ATHLETIC FOOTBALL CLUB from Romford.
