YOUTH RESULTS FROM SUNDAY 6.12.09

Under 13's Chelmsford league side today entertained one of the many Brentwood Athletic sides at The Gateway Academy and won 3-0 to gain another valuable three points in their bid to gain promotion in this first season of Chelmsford league football. Joe Carter, Ricky Macabe & Billy Smith notched today's goals.

This was the only Tilbury youth game today with matches falling victim to the weather and other sides not able to fulfill league fixtures due to cup ties being carried over from last weeks cancelled games.

Good to see that the Gateway Academy pitch is considered playable despite the heavy rain, very good drainage on the site just a pity the ther pitches are unplayable due to poor state they are in with huge holes and cracks which have never closed since the dry summer weather. They need serious work on them.
