Tilbury 1 Bury Town 1 (Att 96)

Tilbury and Bury Town shared a draw, with the draw a fair reflection of the game.

Tilbury made just two changes from midweek, with Lewis Jaggs and Kurt Smith returning to the line up.

Tilbury started very strongly with Dwade James and Toby Aromolaran having great chances inside 5 minutes. Bury Town's Jack Lankester had a good low effort on 18 that went just wide of Clarke Bogard's right hand post.

Tilbury took the lead on 25 when Kurt Smith floated a free kick that saw captain Jack Carlile rise to head past Tibbles, for his third goal in as many games.

Tilbury held the lead for only 6 minutes when Jack Lankester saw his effort take a slight deflection and looping into the net. The remainder of the half was littered with fouls.

Bury had a good period after the break that saw Lankester denied by a fine Board save. Substitute Albie Keith saw his effort go over, before a minute later Lewis Jaggs clearing off his own line with the ball going into the net.

The flow of play was lacking with constant stoppages due to fouls, keeping the referee busy. Late in the game Dwade James was put through, but Tibbles came out well to block.

The result sees Tilbury remain 19th. Tilbury travel to Barking on Tuesday night.

Tilbury: Bogard, Odelusi, Gleed, Jaggs, Salami, Jaffa, Smith (Keith 64), Carlile, James (Norman 90) Anderson and Aromolaran (Little 70)

Subs unused Turpin and Matthews
