Tilbury 2  Brentwood Town 0 (Att 83)

After a disappointing February, Tilbury returned to winning ways over relegation threatened Brentwood Town.

Tilbury saw the return of keeper Clarke Bogard, former skipper Aaron Waters and the first return since November of Emiel Aiken.

In a disappointing first half, both sides had one chance on goal each. The visitors saw Andy Greenslade fire wide inside 5 minutes, before Tilbury took the lead on half time when Kurt Smith played the ball to Lewis Jaggs who from 25 yards saw keeper Anthony Page off his line, to chip into an empty net.

Both sides came out after the break with more energy, with Jaggs again going close on the hour when he intercepted the ball only to see his effort well saved by Page. Andy Freeman saw home custodian Clarke Bogard make a fine save on 66, before Toby Aromolaran saw his effort from 6 yards go over. Substitute Emiel Aiken saw a golden chance pass by as he tried to get his foot to a cross from the right. Tilbury scored the all important goal on 82. A corner from Conor Mead saw Aaron Waters on his comeback, rise above the Brentwood defence, to head home into an empty net for deserved goal. In the final 2 minutes, both sides saw good chances. Kurt Smith was a whisker wide, before Brentwood's best effort came with the final kick when Ryan O'Rawe saw his effort strike the woodwork and the follow up hit wide.

After the game manager Gary Henty commented "Delighted with the result. We defended well and our concentration was good. Pleasing to have a clean sheet"

Tilbury sit in 12th place in the league.
