Tilbury 1 Barkingside 1 (Att 61)
Tilbury continued with there stuttering February with the sides sharing the points on a cold day at Chadfields. Manager Gary Henty was able to select captain Gary Henty and Danny Glozier following suspension and injury and also gave Dwade James his first start for the club after a move from Brentwood Town. The Dockers did suffer a blow prior to kick with Conor Mead pulling up injured and was replaced by Bradley Webb.

It was an exciting first period, with both sides having chances. On 12 Emiel Aiken saw his effort well saved by visiting keeper Tyler McCarthy, before Barkingside's Ademiliyu having his shot well saved by Clarke Bogard. It was the same combination a minute later before Dwade James hit a super volley that went just over the top. The best of the game fell to Tilbury on 23 when Dwade James crossed for Greg Cundle who saw his header brilliantly saved again by McCarthy. On the half hour Game put in Cundle who struck the inside of the post before Michael Spencer for the visitors saw his header tipped over by Bogard.

Alfie Wren was the next player to try his luck as Bogard was equal to tip over. James was denied just before the break, before Barkingside were harshly denied a goal, by a late flag for a foul on Bogard. The Dockers did come out strongly after the break with Glozier sending in two good crosses in as many minutes.
Barkingside took the lead on 63 when a free kick fell to the feet of Michael Spencer to hit home.
Tilbury immediately called for there leading goalscorer Tony Martin from the bench and were rewarded when Matt Game sent in a corner from the left and Martin bullet like header flew home.
Inside the final 5 minutes Tilbury pushed hard and it was Martin who nearly sealed the points, but again denied by Barkingside's excellent keeper.

The whistle blew soon after which left Tilbury now 9 games without a win.

The result leaves Tilbury now in 10th place. The Dockers have Essex Senior Cup action on Tuesday when they travel to Redbridge in the quarter finals, with the winner travelling to Heybridge Swifts in the semi final.

Tilbury: Bogard, Webb, Glozier, Pooley, Nightingill, Game, Aiken, Carlile, James (Spalding 77), Cundle, J Cook (Martin 66).

Unused subs: Jaggs, Edmunds and C Mead
