Tilbury and Haringey shared a goal-less draw on a heavy pitch, with the game chances at a premium.

The visitors started brightly with Anthony Macdonald causing problems in the home defence and went close inside 3 minutes. Ashley Taylor-Forbes had the chance of the first half when he got in behind the Tilbury defence, but some how, hit over the bar. Tilbury's best chance fell to midfielder Jack Carlile on 11 when his rasping left footed shot bounced off the cross bar and away to safety. Ross Elsom had a chance on 18 when he volleyed towards goal from a Matt Game cross. Both sides had half chances before the break, with the best effort on the half time whistle when Kurt Smith saw his free kick well saved by Ashley Harris.
The early start of the second period saw both sides lose there discipline, with Haringey suffering when when Rakim Richards was shown a straight red card, after only picking up a yellow minutes before. The Dockers tried to breakdown a stubborn defence, with a late effort from Tony Martin being the only talking point as he fired wide from 8 yards as he miss hit his shot wide. Despite the man advantage Tilbury had to settle for there second consecutive 0-0 draw, but it did mean a 4th successive clean sheet for the Dockers and going through January with the conceding of just 3 goals.

The result leaves Tilbury still in 6th place, but 4 points off the play off places.

After the game Manager Gary Henty commented “We missed some good chances today and that was the difference, as we dominated for long periods"
