Tilbury made it 4 successive wins, with an excellent 5-1 victory over out of form Redbridge on a cold chilly night at Oakside. The results lifts the Dockers to 7th in the league and lead the form table in the league.

Tilbury made 2 enforced changes with Bradley Webb coming in for suspended Conor Mead and Neil Richmond regaining his place in place of injured Harry Cook. The Dockers made the early running and went in front inside 3 minutes when Francis Babalola crossed for Emiel Aiken who thumped his effort into the back of an empty net. Tilbury made it 2-0 just 10 minutes later when a super ball from Jack Carlile found Neil Richmond whose effort come back off the crossbar and Tony Martin was alert and got his foot in to score. A minute later Tony Martin struck the bar from 25 yards.

Before the half hour Tilbury made it deserved 3rd, when Carlile was again in the action finding Neil Richmond who controlled and his perfectly timed lob beat Parker who was stranded off his line. Emiel Aiken had two efforts in the space of 30 seconds with a clear shot from 6 yards after he beat the offside trap. Tilbury dominated up to the break.

Tilbury continued to attack, with Tony Martin going close on 52 when he hit inches wide. The Dockers increased the lead on 59 when a long Danny Glozier ball found the feet of Tony Martin who looked offside and chipped over the head of the on rushing Redbridge keeper Mark Parker to slot home. On 68 substitute Dave Collins free kick found Babalola who headed just wide.

Tilbury confirmed the points with 15 minutes to go when Joe Nightingill was on hand to head home a Dave Collins corner. It looked like Tilbury would see the game out, but Redbridge did score a consolation goal in the final minute when they broke well and Jay Knight headed home after the ball hit the bar.

After the game Assistant Manager Danny Smith commented "Really excellent performance from the lads. We are currently in good form and the team are looking forward to every game"

On Saturday Tilbury are back at Chadfields when they welcome Heybridge Swifts.
