Tilbury 5 Barkingside 0 (Att 54)Tilbury scored five times in 17 late second half minutes to progress into the next round earning a tie at home to Tooting and Mitcham. In a disappointing first half that lacked goalmouth action and was fast and furious, Barkingside had a good effort on 6 minutes when Michael Spencer volleyed over. Two minutes later Barkingside were fortunate not to go down to 10 men when Luke With lashed out at Danny Glozier, only for the referee to bizarrely show a yellow card. Kurt Smith headed wide midway through the half before Aiken and Carlile both went close before the break. Despite the ball being in the air for long periods after the break, Tilbury settled and substitute Tony Martin found Harry Cook on his 100th appearance for the club in the 74th minute, to hit home left footed to score Tilbury's 6500th senior goal for the club.It was all Tilbury and 3 minutes later Francis Babalola rounded the keeper and missed the target that was empty. Just a minute later a goalmouth scramble saw Carlile, Cook and Aiken all have shots on target, but could no score. On 80 minutes Babalola was brought down in the box and Danny Glozier scored his first goal for the club, despite keeper Behcet getting his hand to the ball.Tilbury finished the game strongly and made it 3 on 84 when substitute Tony Martin tapped home from another Babalola cross. On 87 a great ball by Jack Carlile saw Emiel Aiken run through and round the keeper to slot home and with the final kick, Carlile again played in, this time Tony Martin to slot home for a comfortable home win. After the game manager Gary Henty commented "Pleased to get through to the next round. There were some very good performances today"Tilbury have a rare midweek off and are not back in action until next Saturday, when they travel to Haringey Borough. 3.00pm. The game will be free admission for all.Team Bogard, C Mead, Glozier, Nightingill, Pooley, Game, Aiken, Carlile, H Cook (Edmunds 85), Babalola, K Smith (Martin 56)Unused Subs: Webb, Collins and Austin
