This has already happened in a previous round of the fa cup this season. Would have been unfair to throw St Neots out when they have kept another team in for the same thing

Also now St Neots have to pay for their own travel and do not receive any gate money from Tuesdays game.

No point in moaning, Just put all the anger in and go and win the match, Just seems to me that people are already making the excuses in case we lose.

Dear FA, do the "DOCKERS" get one cheat on Tuesday night to even things out, if we do get on to "COVO" see if we can have Higgins for 90 mins.

Fa say rules have been breached, so why are they still in competition irrespective of their reasons for playing unregistered player, even at our level fa remain gutless.

Tilbury get second chance at home

TILBURY FC will get the chance to play St Neots Town at home again in the FA Cup after the FA ruled that the Southern League side had breached its rules – but not sufficiently to be thrown out of the competition. The two sides drew 1-1 at Chadfields last Saturday and were due to replay at St neots on Tuesday, but on Monday that game was suspending pending an FA investigation into an alleged issue regarding one of the St neots players.Today (Thursday) the FA issued the following statement:“The FA Cup Committee considered submissions made by St Neots Town FC in relation to a charge for the breach of FA Cup Rule 15(h) for playing an ineligible player in the First Round Qualifying against Tilbury FC on Saturday 12 September 2015.“Whilst it was acknowledged that the competition rules had been breached, the committee were satisfied with the explanation and evidence provided within the submissions from St Neots Town and decided, by exercising its discretionary power in accordance with FA Cup Rule 16(c), not to remove St Neots Town FC from the competition and ordered the tie to be replayed to a conclusion at Tilbury FC on Tuesday 22 September 2015.“Furthermore, it was decided that gate receipts from the tie ordered to be replayed shall be retained by Tilbury FC with St Neots Town FC also responsible for their own travel costs.”
