Re: Paul Vaughan has gone. WATFTT
Hopefully Paul Vaughan will continue to make a good living out of Tilbury Football Club with his other set ups within the club i have no problem with that. But has a failed first team manager, in my opinion he should have no say whatsoever in how the new management team approach the job. He is not the first team manager any more for a reason, that reason being he was not up to the job, so please please pretty please stay well away from what is the main objective of Tilbury Football Club the first team. They've played this level of football for a while so i'm sure they can get the players in.
Hopefully it means he is just continuing with the academy side of things.

Will Henty and Smith have the pulling power to get decent experienced players in ?
Everybody knows I wasnt a fan of Vaughany as manager so I'm glad this decision has been made but a worrying part of the official statement says Mr Vaughan will be looking over the new management

I can only imagine they've gone too as the reserves assistant manager is now involved.
Be a shame to see Joynes go, Always happy to sit with us for a chat.

Tilbury Chairman Danny Nash has tonight announced that Paul Vaughan has stepped down as first team manager of Tilbury FC and will now oversee all football at the club.
Paul Vaughan had been entering his 5th season as manager and will be remembered for getting his side to 3rd place in 2011/12 when his side lost 4-3 to Needham Market in a thrilling play off semi final.
The club have brought in two young managers who are hungry for success. Current midfielder Gary Henty who has played over 100 times for the club and Tilbury stalwart Danny Smith who has played over 150 games for the club will be joint managers with immediate effect.
Joining the coaching staff is George Young who has been assistant manager of our reserve side and has also played for the club.
Mr Nash said "Paul has been a good manager for the club and took the side to great heights three years ago. Paul will remain a big part of the club and will oversee the new management"
The club thank Paul for his continuing hard work and welcome Gary, Danny and George to the club and will support the new management team
