Going back to your grays point yes they have no ground but they are still are far better run club than tilbury and this shouldn't be happening, look at witham they were the whipping boys of the league but a change of chairman and lots of effort from the committee look at them now a small club with average gates going places if they can achieve it then surely we can. We really do need a change of manager a man with fresh ideas who can bring in his own new players. I hope paul vaughan proves me wrong and we have a great season but I can't see it happening.
Paul Joynes is the one who got Sam Cutler in, He's done alright for us.
Paul Vaughan is the reason Dave Ross and Terry Hornsby left.

No not happy when we play bad or lose just think being negative is the wrong way face facts Paul v is the manager and will be until the club change it. It is not the players fault so if we back the team we will get the best out of them no matter what . When have tilbury ever been more than a average non league club?. Up the dockets I will support the team with or without Paul v.

Re: Club update re players Via official T.F.C. site.
Apart from the teams with money it is a poor league I so fully expect tilbury to finish mid table not bottom 6 like previous person said. As for the money thing your obviously very happy watching the rubbish at tilbury and also lack the ambition that the club officials also have. As for grays well it was the dodgy owner that ruined them and yes if tilbury could get to fa trophy finals and play in the conference and nearly make it to the football league then yes would be nice watching them just like grays.

Re: Club update re players Via official T.F.C. site.
poor league !! this season will be the hardest for a long time lots of clubs going for it just look at the signings the clubs WITH MONEY are making. look tilbury is tilbury not the most attractive place to ply your trade but a great club when you get to know it. welcome back jack gary and steve. Look what will be will be no matter what manager we have. the rymans league is like the FA prem the clubs with the money will always be at the top. maybe you would like to do a GRAYS chuck loads of money at the club get to the top then get chucked out because you can't pay the players, then lose your ground and become the can i share with you please club. come on you dockers no matter what team we have lets all get there and make some noise because when the docker boys sing has they did at thurrock on the last day of the season it makes the boy feel proud and gives them something to fight for.Asitis wrote:It's a poor league so got some hope, but the manager really has to go, all the other local teams are making good signings and we just sign the same old faces. If there's no money available at tilbury then the chairman and committee must go too. All that will happen here we will get halfway through the season and half these players will be off again.

Complete lack of ambition the club is moving backwards, and will do all the time Paul Vaughan is in the managers seat. Must say you are optimistic I can only see us in the bottom six.Asitis wrote:Nothing new there then, all ex players so pretty much as expected from the management team, and just highlights the need for a new manager with fresh ideas and players, but we know that won't happen so I'm thinking mid table at best again and another show of a lack of ambition just hope I can be proved wrong.

That's 12 players signed, and only 4 weeks till the start of the season, nice to see you still have the pulling power Mr Vaughan. And out of the new signings only one new face. But still nice to see them back again makes you wonder why they couldn't wait to get away in the first place.

Re: Club update re players Via official T.F.C. site.
A number of new players have been drafted to join those who have been retained from last season.
Squad Update
We are delighted to announce the signing of former club captain, Gary Henty. The experienced Centre Midfielder has made 93 appearances scoring 8 goals.
We also welcome back Jack Carlile who has made 43 appearances, scoring 2 goals and earning himself the titles of Players' Player of the Year and Manager's Player of the Year. Both have arrived from Redbridge.
The club would like to announce the signing of Steve Good who has previously made 68 appearances, scoring 4 goals while operating in defence and midfield.
We also welcome the return of young and promising goalkeeper, Dean Driscoll who has made 5 appearances. Dean will be remembered for his magnificent penalty save at home to Soham Town Rangers in April 2013.
Sam Cutler has also returned to the club after a short spell at Conference South side, Bishop's Stortford. The influential centre midfielder made 38 appearances last season scoring 3 goals and making 5 assists.
Danny Aldwinckle, Harry Cook, Jack West, Sam West, Jake Pooley and Club Captain, Aaron Waters have all agreed new deals with the club for the new season.
Ryan Flack, 19 year old striker has joined on a trial from Welling United.
Welcome to all new players and we hope that together with the old faces, we can make an improvement on last season.
Unfortunately, we have learned that Rimmel Daniel will be out of action until at least September with a long lasting injury. The club wishes him a speedy recovery.
Manager, Paul Vaughan has commented to express his delight with the hard work from all players in the training sessions so far.
Nice to see the ex dockers back. Shaping up pretty nicely
